Will resurfacing my headlights improve my visibility while driving at night?

Yes. Resurfacing your lenses may improve your night visibility by as much as 95%. Driving with yellowed or clouded lenses is a safety hazard. After resurfacing your lenses you will notice that driving at night is less stressful and much easier.

Can I resurface the lens to prevent yellowing if there is nothing wrong with yet?

Yes. You can also have paint protection film (PPF) applied to your headlights. This will help prevent them from cracking and turning yellow!

How long should the repair last?

It depends on a number of factors, such as: climate, amount of sun exposure, salty ocean air, high mineral content in water, improper cleaning and caring for your vehicle, and others.

Our product was developed, tested, and approved in Florida where cars are exposed to most of the common factors that cause clouded lenses.

Is the yellow on some headlights coming from the inside?

There is a possibility that a little bit of the yellow comes from the inside, depending on how well the headlight is sealed, but this is usually just a small portion of the damage.

Using our system will still significantly improve the appearance and your night time visibility by reducing the outside damage.

The lights on my car have a gritty feel to them and I can see pits in the plastic. Can your system fix this?

Yes. This type of repair takes a little more work, but in most cases still can be done with great results.

Can I use this on the red and yellow plastic that the blinkers and taillights are made out of?

Yes. This system can be used on any type of plastic. It doesn’t even need to be car related.

I have had auto detailers polish the lenses several times, but after a few days they dull back out and look even worse! What makes your process any better?

Our headlight restoration process involves much more than simply polishing the lenses.

We start out by machine sanding with 600 grit, then 1000 grit then finish with 1500 grit to remove all the dead clear and reduce rock imperfections in the plastic. Then spray 2 coats of Cromax LE 5100s clearcoat.
